These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of SYKE Travel & Tours’ and SMAK’s Hotel & Restobar’s Website and its Payment Policies for all kind of bookings.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use SYKE Travel & Tours’ website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “Users”, “Partners”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Philippines. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Payments Policy

Credit Card payment

a. If the payment is proceed by credit card the booking is automatically confirmed.
b. In case of booking a package of multiple destinations in the Philippines the final price can raise until plus 10% of the price in the online shop due to change of the seasonal rates. The additional fee will be charged after sending the itinerary but before submitting the final voucher.

Cash payment and Bank Transfer

i.   The reservations are automatically released as soon as we received the prepayment. As long we not received the prepayment the reservation remains open. Please send us a copy of the deposit receipt to syke@travelvisayas.org in order for us to confirm your bookings and reservation.
ii.   The prepayment for the reservation must be at least 50% of the total amount of the order summary. Finally, the voucher for the whole package and for the tickets will be sent to the client after the prepayment for the whole package was proceed.
iii.   The transaction of the payment can be proceed though our bank account on following direction:

– or through certified remittance centers or GCash.
– Of course you also can inquire for a Credit Card Invoice (Pay Pal).

iv.   The final payment for multi-day tours is due to 7 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

a.    The Site users and clients of SYKE Travel & Tours are entitled to cancel their reservation and receive refund in case of any of the following:


i.    Cancellation of day tours or Car Rentals: A user or client is entitled to a full refund if day tour and car rental are cancelled twenty-four (24) hours before departure. 

ii.    Cancellation of Hotels and Accommodations: A user or client is entitled to a 50% refund of the the entire booking amount of accommodations and hotels bookings if they are cancelled forty-eight (48) hours before arrival.
 The reservation- or prepayment for bookings of accommodations and hotels (mostly 50% of the entire amount) is non-refundable.
iii.    Cancellation of Multi-Day Tours and SYKE Travel & Tours serviced packages: 
If the multi-day tour is cancelled more than 14 days before departure the user shall be entitled to an 50% refund of the prepayment. If the multi-day tour is cancelled 60 days before departure the client shall be entitled to a 70% refund of the prepayment. 

iv.    Please note that in cases where cancellation insurance has been purchased the website’s users or clients can cancel such a product with 48 hours in advance before departure and receive a full refund. 

v.    Cancellation due to weather: If the website’s user or any other client from SYKE Travel & Tours books a service and/or product from an SYKE Travel & Tours or any other establishment involved in this website and if SYKE Travel & Tours, the establishment, the user or the client have to cancel due to weather conditions or any other circumstances the user or the client shall always receive at least a refund of 50% of the total amount. In cases when an activity within a multi-day tour is cancelled or alternative option offered from the original tour description, a partial refund is given. If the the user or the client is not interested in the alternative activity, a refund of at least 50% is given.
vi. The flights from Cebu to Bantayan and Bantayan to Cebu are non-refundable under any circumstances.


b.    Establishments are not entitled to a refund from SYKE Travel & Tours of its commission for any cancellation of service or product by the establishment due to circumstances under its control (e.g. overbooking, malfunction of equipment etc.).

c.   The receiver of the refund has to cover the transaction costs.

Terms, Termination and Amendments

a.   SYKE Travel & Tours may terminate or suspend your account or ability to use the Site, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, for any or no reason, and without notice or liability of any kind.  Any such termination or suspension could prevent you from accessing your account, the Site, your content, Site content or any other related information.
b.    You may terminate this contract at any time by closing your account and discontinuing your use of any and all parts of the Site. If you close your account, SYKE Travel & Tours may continue to display your previously published content and is under no obligation to remove any of your content.

We employ the use of cookies. By using SYKE Travel & Tours’ website you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with SYKE Travel & Tours’s privacy policy.
